Apple Releases Mac OS X 10.7.5 Beta For Developers

Two days ago, some people reported that Apple may have been preparing to issue a new beta of OS X Lion to developers. And yesterday, on 19 June, Apple has seeded OS X Lion 10.7.5 build 11G15 to Apple Developer Connection (ADC) members for testing.

Now we’ve come to know that, this first version arrives as Build 11G15. The developers have been requested to focus their efforts on the following areas :

  • Graphics performance and quality
  • Image and Media importing, editing or viewing
  • Networking reliability & performance

Build 11G15 is available as both a ‘Delta’ update (937 MB) and also a ‘Combo’ update (1.87GB). Both of these updates are available for download to registered developers at developer.apple.com.

Details on what changes have been made in the first beta of OS X 10.7.5 is unknown. Apple has announced that it will be launching OS X Mountain Lion sometime next month.
