LG Optimus G Pro is just right on schedule, now up for pre-order at AT&T. Earlier, we were informed that the flagship device is scheduled for a 10th of May release, but AT&T’s website says it’s expected to start shipping from the 7th of May. So if you want it a bit earlier than everyone else, just pre-order it now.
The 5.5-inch device, which packs a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 quad-core chipset under the hood (clocked at 1.7GHz), a 1080p screen, and a 13MP rear-camera. The device is running Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). All this can be yours for $199.99 on a standard two-year contract or for $549.99 one-rime payment. As we think LG’s Optimus G Pro device to be a direct competitor to Samsung’s Note series, which has so far dominated the large form factor space.
