GameStop has announced its plans to establish 80 new holiday-stores dedicated to children. These “GameStop Kids” outlets will be placed throughout the United States in select malls.
These GameStop locations will feature mostly video-game orientated accessories rather than authentic video games. A few examples of what you’ll find there include “a Chewbacca 9-inch plus, Angry Birds mugs, Minecraft Foam Sword, Batman Beatz Beanies, Stay Puft backpack clip,” and more. It’s basically a toy-store version of GameStop.
GameStop’s vice president of merchandise said, “we are always striving to make the shopping experience better for holiday gift givers, GameStop Kids takes that one step further by having the hottest brands and products that people of all ages can love – from Star Wars and LEGO to modern favorites like Skylanders Giants.”
Thus far, GameStop has launched one outlet in Grapevine, Texas. To find the nearest store from your home check the official GameStop Kids website.
