Gamers who like traditional first person shooter games are very much familiar with the “Halo” series. The first game of Halo series snatched away the gaze of shooting games loving fans immediately upon release. The last game, Halo 3, was released in 2007. After 5 years of waiting, Halo 4 will be released exclusively for Xbox 360 on November 6, 2012. The game is developed by 343 Industries and will be published by Microsoft Studios.
According to the post on the Halo 4 official site, the story of Halo 4 will start after the events of Halo 3. The missions of Halo 4 will take place near a forerunner planet named Requiem. After getting lost into the space at the finale of Halo 3, Master Chief and Al Cortana find themselves near the planet after escaping from the UNSC frigate Forward unto Down. The exposure to Halo may cause Al Cortana to become mentally insane, which may turn into the death of Cortana. Now, it is up to Master Chief to find a way to set things right.
The 343 Industries claimed that the Graphic quality of Halo 4 is heavily enhanced. The environment will feature the nature and surroundings of a forerunner planet. The developers also claimed that Halo 4 will not only be a first person shooting game but mostly rely on mystery solving, exploration and discovery new areas and objects. John 117 will return as Master Chief after his debut as playable character in 2007’s Halo 3.
The soundtrack of the game is composed by Neil Davidge.
