Apple Makes Top iOS Apps And Games Free, Celebrating App Store’s 5th Anniversary

Every time Apple hits a major milestone, the company tends to send out a round of free content and great offers in celebration. The latest occasion which the company is celebrating is the 5th anniversary of the App Store. As part of the celebrations, Apple has made a number of top iOS games and apps available for free.

Traktor DJ

From the looks of it, folks at Apple are in a particularly jovial mood. In the past, Apple has often made free content available to iOS users but this time, the company is sending out a major round.

Among the games that have been made available for free on the App Store are Infinity Blade II, Where’s My Water?, Badland and Tiny Wings. None of these games have even been available for free before now.

At the same time, Apple has also turned a number of paid apps into free apps, including the likes of Day One, Over and Traktor DJ. These offers are pretty incredible because they offer extra-ordinary discounts. The Traktor DJ app, for instance, is usually available for a whopping $19.99 but as part of the celebrations, Apple is now offering it absolutely free.

Apple is yet to officially announce these deals but the company has already trimmed the prices on the App Store. In other words, the free-apps spree has already started, so if you have been wanting to lay your hands on paid apps, you better head straight to the App Store and start downloading them right away.
