Even wanted to let your iPhone record a video in a fun way on its own without having to move it around? Cycloramic app for iPhone 5 may be just the thing you are looking for. The app makes the iPhone spin 360 degrees on its own with the help of vibrations, while recording video.
The description of the app at the iTunes Store read, “Gathered around a dinner table, in a bar, in a club, at home, at a conference table, or at a historical monument? Cycloramic allows you to capture the moment (handsfree) in a unique and fun way whilst making you and your phone the talk of the event!”
This is certainly a very useful app. However, the app currently works perfectly only with iPhone 5. It may work with other iPhone handsets but apart from iPhone 5, other devices can’t utilize the 360-degree spin feature.
If you choose to use the app, you have to be careful in that you must place your iPhone 5 at a smooth, hard and level surface when putting it down for the 360-degree video. The feature may not work with all such surfaces with those characteristics, so you have to test out on your own to find out exactly what surfaces support the spinning.
All these limitations granted, the app is still really cool. You can put it anywhere in a gathering to capture a 360-degree video without wasting your own time. The app is available from the App Store for a mere $0.99. Watch the video below to see the app in action:
