Fring has launched two-way video calling for Android devices. The company already offers the same service to Nokia (Symbian S60) and iPhone/iPod touch owners.
Fring CEO Avi Shechter said,”With Android users on over 50 different devices logging into Fring everyday, we [deployed] the open Android platform to rapidly develop the first two-way video calls over Internet on Android.”
Shechter added that Android’s market reach – combined with the openness of the OS – allowed developers to swiftly create “rich” communication solutions for multiple devices.
