How to install GameCenter, HDR on Jailbroken iOS 4.1 iPhone 3G/3GS

With the release of iOS 4.1 Apple announced HDR photos for iPhone 4, and Game Center for iPhone 4 / 3Gs. So, iPhone 3G / 3GS users.Macusercom, has developed HDR/GameCenter Enabler cydia tweak for the iPhone 3G and 3GS on jailbroken iOS 4.1 that enable some options that have been disabled in iOS 4.1 final update.

There’s nothing easier than installing this tweak and enabling HDR photos and Game Center which Apple completely denied the compatibility of this feature on iPhone 3G. Of course this tweak works only on iPhone 3G running iOS 4.1.

The instructions are given below.

Step 1: Jailbreak your iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS.

Step 2: Start ‘Cydia’ on your jailbroken iPhone 3G(S) iOS 4.0.1 springboard.

Step 3: Select ‘Manage’ tab at the bottom of your iPhone screen and then select ‘Sources’.

Step 4: Select ‘Edit’ and then select ‘Add’. Now enter a URL source. Type ‘repo.modmyi.com’ and select on ‘Add Source’. Once Cydia has added the source click on ‘Return to Cydia’ button.

Step 5: Once the installation is completed. Search for ‘HDR/GameCenter Enabler’ in Cydia and install it. This package has three things to enable HDR, GameCenter or both. Don’t use HDR and the GameCenter enabler, because it won’t work. Use the third enabler HDR/GameCenter Enabler for both.

Step 6: Now reboot your iPhone. You can now enjoy GameCenter and HDR photos on your iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS.

That’s all.
