Earlier i’ve reported that iMovie 1.2 for iPad 2, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G is available for download. MacRumors have reported the entire instructions on how to get iMovie 1.2 working the first-generation iPad – without needing to jailbreak it.
To install iMovie onto an original iPad follow these steps, making sure the iDevice is connected to the computer.
Step 1: Download and install the latest version of iMovie in the App Store on the Mac or PC.
Step 2: Download the newly updated iPhone Configuration Utility from Apple. (Mac and Windows).
Step 3: Click the add button, then navigate to ~ / Music / iTunes / iTunes Media / Mobile Applications.
Step 4: Now select iMovie 120.ipa from the list.
Step 5: Select the iPad from the sidebar on the left, then click the applications tab in the right pane.
Step 6: Navigate to the iMovie listing, and hit the install button.
