iOS 10 is here now. The wait is over. Before the world even has the new iPhone 7 or 7 Plus, we all now could drive into iOS 10. This is a major update, packs with lots new stuff and surely going to change how you use your iPhone or iPad and this translate in many ways how you pass your digital life. With feature update, we will share some key information you should know before updating to iOS 10. Keep reading.

The initial iOS 10 Apple pushed out has some minor software issue, that caused several iPhone and iPad to before unusable after the update, and required to restore, erasing all the data in the process. But Apple was fast to respond, now they rolled out version iOS 10.0.1 and it fixed those issue. I have tested it in my iPad Air 2, iPhone 6 and iPhone 5 SE as well, and all went very smoothly.

Things You Need To Know Before Updating Any iOS
So, it’s safe to update. It could take anywhere between 30 min to over an hour for the update to finish, if you are doing OTA update directly from the device, make sure you are in good Wifi, and have your Charger handy.
As soon as you are done updating you will be in iOS 10, there is no separate on-boarding process, so you will see the home screen like usual.
Messages:
Messages is probably one App that got super boost. So many new features. A super nifty option to send heartbeat messages to your loved one.
Photos:
‘Memories’ is basically the first thing you will notice, it will take awhile to scan and index at the beginning.
Calender:
Calender got some update as well.
Notes:
Now you could collaborate with others.
Music:
Look and feel basically changed for Music.
Clock: Introducing Bedtime
This is a new feature. One of the most advertised feature of iOS 10 by Apple.
It lets you get into a schedule.
Health:
It also got major update. Shows nice video to explain better.
And make it easy to navigate inside Health App, and have mainly 4 focus area.
