Apple iPhone 5S is rocking all over the world. The handset is said to be up to 56 times faster than the original iPhone. However, lately it’s been reported that iPhone 5S went sold out in 24 hours in India.
Although having same design concept of predecessor iPhone 5, its specs came with improved hardware under its hood. iPhone 5S runs iOS 7 (64-bit OS) and is powered by A7 chip with 64-bit architecture. The handset sports a touch sensor called Touch ID embedded into the Home button. The 16GB 5S costs US$199, while 32GB and 64GB costs US$299 and US$399, respectively. However, the device hugely attracted Indians besides Americans.
Times of India has reported that iPhone 5S sold out in 24 hours in India. But as the demand for iPhone 5S went rising, so later retailers in India were requested to stock more iPhone 5S as soon as possible. On the other side, iPhone 5C is still available in India. No doubt, the device couldn’t attract people much like iPhone 5S.
However, this is not the first time that a device went sold out in 24 hours. Earlier, $99 Google Chromebook for schools and Surface Tablet pre-order went sold out in 24 hours.
