Apple’s iPhone 5S and 5C are now on sale at retail and online stores around much of the world, and the general impression from consumers is one of high anticipation. At this moment, many gaming accessories for the iPhone are coming down the pipeline. And here’s the first MFi iPhone game controller from Logitech, leaked on Twitter by @evleaks.
Recently, @evleaks has published the image above that shows the device much larger. It appears as a slide onto an iPhone like a case which connects via Bluetooth and is battery operated. The image also shows that Logitech has left space for the rear camera and there is full control for gaming, complete with shoulder buttons on the top left and right.
MFi controllers first came to our notice in June, after Apple debuted the controller API at WWDC. And after release of iOS 7, there are many games like Walking Dead and Bastion that have incorporated Game Controller Support. Still now there is no game controller for iPhone in the market. But now it seems like the MFi iPhone game controller may come any time, possibly during Apple’s rumored iPad-centric fall event.
