SlingPlayer Mobile for iPad

Sling Media going to release SlingPlayer Mobile for iPad with walkthrough and reminds all the daytime TV.Sling Media’s SlingPlayer Mobile for iPad available at $30……

According to Mr. Video Narrator, the app has video quality “better than any mobile app we’ve ever done,” thanks to Apple’s fancy H.264 Live Streaming capabilities. The UI looks nicely responsive and unobtrusive, and the video does indeed look pretty great in the middle of a 360p YouTube video. It’s also clear that the iPad is really becoming a TV-consumption powerhouse, between Hulu Plus, Netflix, ABC, etc., so SlingPlayer looks like a natural fit. How well it will perform when it’s out in the wild is another matter, but we look forward to plunking down our $30 soon and finding out for ourselves.

Happy new Years everyone, my name is Jason with Dish network, I am an avid user of TV everywhere on my iphone, and hope to be adding an ipad to my arsenal of high tech gadgets shortly. The Sling box are an amazing piece of technology, and if you purchase a sling box it does have the 30.00 for the apps. But if you have dish network, you can get the sling either through the cling adapter which is $ 99.00 or by getting a 922 DVR which has the sling built into it, and all the apps are free for subscribers to dish. Just an FYI. Enjoy the new year, and let’s see what cool advances come out in the next year.

“Test” I’m sorry you have been having issues with service. I
use the Sling Adapter with my iPad all the time, without issue. You may
consider contacting one of my coworkers here at DISH for some trouble shooting.
You can chat in from DISHNetwork.com. Rather then getting the Sling App, you
may want to try the DISH Remote Access app, it’s free and it is designed to
work specifically with DISH service. In fact, DISH recently sent out an iPad
update that added all kinds of Video On Demand content that coincides with what
you subscribe to. If you have the Blockbuster
    Movie Pass
or any of the premium movie channels like HBO, you have access to that content.
