According to the images posted by Engadget, a retailer in Belgium has already received the first bunch of white iPhone 4′s and has already started to sell them online on its store. They have got both 16 and 32GB models of the white iPhone 4.
MacStories reported that a number of international retailers are selling the devices ahead of schedule. The delay was said to be caused by production issues with the white paint. The white color apparently caused problems with the camera lens due to light leaking from the front panel. The new phone supposedly has a new proximity sensor that features a different shape, and, therefore, eliminates the problem.
Apple was supposed to release the white iPhone 4 back in June alongside the black model but delayed it due to undisclosed reasons. Since then the white version of the device has remained in the news and rumors of its release have been circulating around the web through out the last ten months. Apple has never officially disclosed the reason behind the delay of the white variant of iPhone 4, but announced that the device will go on sale this spring.
