If you want to get a laptop with a bit more edge than your regular one, the new product by Eurocom may very well interest you. It’s a workstation-class laptop, titled the X8100 Leopard, and it’s aimed at engineers and gamers simultaneously

Eurocom’s X8100 Leopard laptop is powerful enough to double up as a workstation, and is probably far more powerful than many average desktops at the moment. Regardless of whether you are a gamer or engineer, the X8100 is capable of delivering quite a punch. After all, you won’t complain about the lack of viewing real estate.

the X8100 packs an 18.4-inch 1920 x 1080 display, a Core i7 Extreme processor, your choice of a slew of different high-end graphics options in single or SLI / CrossFireX configurations (including the ATI HD5870 and NVIDIA GTX 480M), and up to four SATA-300 hard drives in various RAID configurations for up to 3TB of storage — to name just a few standout features.

Not only that, you can also choose between single or SLI/CrossFireX configurations (including the ATI HD5870 and NVIDIA GTX 480M), and can store up to a quartet of SATA-300 hard drives in various RAID configurations for up to 3TB of storage. Other connectivity options include DVI port, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, Card Reader, LAN-port, a FireWire port, an optical drive, and an ExpressCard slot.

Needless to say, a beast of this size will definitely be unforgiving on your shoulders if you decide to tote it around, and it won’t come cheap either.

Of course, the laptop does also weigh twelve pounds and has a price tag that’s on a need-to-know basis — but can you really put a price on five different LED color options? Head on past the break for the complete press release, and hit up the gallery below for a closer look at the laptop itself.

It’s a bit hefty though, weighing at 12 pounds, and the price isn’t revealed publicly – you have to ask personally to get information on it. But hey, they also give you a choice of five different LED colors! And with its stylish looks, it can surely grab some attention.
