Samsung has added a new Chromebook in its Chrome devices product line. The latest Samsung Chromebook features 3G. Already, major online retailers such as Amazon and Newegg are taking pre-order of the device for $330. The price level higher than the Wi-Fi-only model. With this Chromebook, users will get a Verizon 3G connection for 2 years free.
Samsung already has posted full details of the Chromebook 3G. The device is equipped with a Samsung Exynos 5 Dual processor, a 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 resolution display, 2GB of DDR3L RAM, 16GB of storage, 3W Stereo Speaker, 0.3 MP webcam, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, a HDMI port, one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port, 3- in-1 multi card slot.
The device also has a 2 cell Li-Po battery that can run continuous 6.3 hours. The weight is 2.43 lb. and dimensions 11.4 x 8.09 x 0.69 ((W x D x H)). Though Amazon and Newegg are accepting pre-order but Google said to ZDNET, “The 3G Chromebook is not available in the US yet.”
