Samsung has been pretty tight-lipped about its upcoming flagship smartphone, Galaxy S III. Unlike Apple, Samsung does divulge information at times but it has been exceptionally shush about Galaxy S III. And that is what has made the anticipation for the device all the more sweeter. However, it seems that an unanticipated leak may have occurred as a listing for the device was found on Amazon Germany.
Interestingly, the page lists all the features of the device well in detail. It speaks of a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED Screen, a 12-megapixel camera and Ice Cream Sandwich running on it. The 12-megapixel camera is definitely going to be a very enticing sweetener for Android fans and users, shall this leak turn out to be accurate.
Some of the details on the page were less clear. For instance, the listing talks of the device’s storage as 16 GB while being ‘expandable up to 32GB.’ However, if a microSD is supported in the device, as is often the case with Samsung smartphones, there shouldn’t really be a limitation of 32GB on it. Or perhaps, this may be an indication of a second variant of the device which will be available with a default storage space of 32GB.
A number of rumors had been doing their rounds on the internet regarding the expected specs of Galaxy S III. This purported leak goes on to negate quite a few of them. For instance, we were told of a possible smaller screen but the listing on Amazon Germany page pretty much trashes it. Nonetheless, we are hoping that things may be in the clear on May 3rd when Samsung is expected to divulge some information about the upcoming Galaxy release.
