Samsung has announced that it will be launching two new smartphones in the coming days. The first of them is Galaxy Ace Plus, a newer version of Galaxy Ace. The second phone is Samsung Galaxy M Style, a device which for now has been announced only for the Korean market. Galaxy Ace Plus will be released in Russia, Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe and Latin America for now. When and whether or not it will be released in America is unclear.
Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus has the same processor as Galaxy Ace but is better in other hardware configuration. It has a 1 GHz processor, 2 GB storage for content, 512 RAM for memory and 1 GB storage for apps. The display is a 3.65-inch screen with a pixel resolution of 480*320.
The second device in the list, Galaxy M Style has a better hardware configuration than Galaxy Ace Plus. Galaxy M Style comes packed with 4 GB of storage, a 3-mp camera, 1 GHz CPU and a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen. According to reports, the price of Galaxy M Style will be close to $500.
Both the devices have Android OS and are mid-range in terms of hardware. But apparently, the prices are not so low accordingly. However, since the devices won’t be released for the American market, perhaps Samsung can afford to sell the devices at higher-than-usual price at other countries. It’s the same way as Apple decided to sell iPhone 4S at huge prices in Latin America.
