Ever since the launch of the first Nokia PureView device, rumors were swirling that Nokia may launch a similar 41MP camera equipped Windows Phone like Nokia 808 PureView. Now it seems like the rumors were true. Recently a report says, Nokia is going to bring the very first “real PureView Windows Phone” codenamed EOS, later this year.
According to The Verge, some familiar sources of Nokia has reported that the phone-maker is planning a true PureView Windows Phone called EOS (it’s a codename for that upcoming phone) that will run on Windows Phone 8 and include a similar sensor which was found on Nokia 808 PureView handset. The upcoming EOS will be will be built using aluminum instead of typical polycarbonate found on recent Lumia Windows Phones. The familiar sources of Nokia has also reported this magnificent phone will be launched at the end of this year on AT&T‘s network.
It is expected that Nokia will announce this product at the MWC 2013, which is going to be held in Barcelona, Spain, next month. When Nokia was asked about this, a spokesperson said that the company doesn’t comment on “media speculation.”
