This year in May, Samsung launched its latest phone Galaxy S 3 and within 100 days, it has been sold 20 million units. On the other side, Apple’s latest iPhone – iPhone 5 has been launched on September 12 and its pre-order sold out within an hour from apple website apple.com. After the launch of iPhone 5, Samsung has found a new way to strike Apple. Samsung will start advertising its Samsung Galaxy S 3 in various national and regional papers on Sunday comparing Samsung Galaxy S 3 with the newly annonced iPhone 5 and encourage people to buy Samsung Galaxy S 3 rather than buying iPhone 5.
No doubt, Samsung directly jabbed Apple via this ad because the tagline of this ad says “It doesn’t take a genius.” The Galaxy S 3’s list of features is much big than the iPhone 5. Samsung Galaxy S 3’s some specs like HD resolution, talk time and RAM beats iPhone 5. Besides Samsung Galaxy S 3 has near-field communications (NFC) technology which iPhone 5 doesn’t have.
Samsung has listed a lot of Galaxy S 3 specific software features like sharing photos wirelessly between phones and tilt to zoom, but very technically it has avoided mentioning any iPhone 5-specific features.
