The Windows Phone 7 race has begun, as we have Voxofon issuing a press release to announce they are the first company to bring mobile VoIP to Microsoft’s upcoming mobile platform.
The weird thing, though, is that Windows Phone 7 is still not available, but that “minor point” shouldn’t stop anyone from saying they are the first.
Anyway, Voxofon promised that its future WinMo 7 users will be able to save up to 98% (over traditional telecom prices) on international calls. Moreover, they reminded us their application is already available for other platforms, including the iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, and Palm Pre and Pixi.
