Barnes and Noble will be revealing a second generation series for its older black-and-white Nook e-reader and this one will be a colored e-reader with some functionalities that will incorporate an e-reader and tablet under a single device.The name of the new e-reader will be Nook Color.
It will get some new features such as a bigger 7-inch display, in full VGA color and will use the Android platform – although it’s not confirmed if it will have access to the full Android market just like any Android tablet around.
It was also said that B&N will be partnering with Best Buy to market this device and it will be available on its rumored launch date on October 28 for 249 USD.
