French consumer electronics company Archos is a pioneer in Android tablets, portable audio and video player market. We have already seen Archos unveiling 80 Cobalt, an 8-inch Android 4.0 tablet which costs less than $300. And now, this consumer electronics company has officially unveiled a new tablet called Archos 97 Titanium HD. The differentiating factor is its 9.7-inch high resolution IPS display with 2,048 x 1,536 pixels.
Archos 97 Titanium HD weighs 640 gm and measures 240 mm x 184 mm x 9 mm. This tablet runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and features a 9.7-inch 2,048 x 1,536 pixel IPS display, an 1.6GHz dual-core A9 processor, a quad-core GPU (Mali 400 MP4), a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with auto-focus, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card support (up to 64GB), Wi-Fi, Archos Media Center apps, OfficeSuite Viewer.
Archos neither has revealed its price nor its availability for purchase.
