HP has just officially announced pricing for the HP Slate 500 enterprise tablet. The 8.9-inch tablet runs on an Intel chip and comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 Professional. The HP Slate 500 is aimed at the enterprise and business market so no special OS overlay for Windows 7.The HP Slate 500 is with a 8.9-inch Capacitive touchscreen display (1024 x 600 pixels),Wacom digitizer, a 1.86GHz Intel Atom Z530, 2GB of RAM, a 64GB SSD, a rear-facing 3MP camera and a front facing VGA camera.

But they are late with deliveries. I called my order rep at HP today and was told that my tablet, which was supposed to be shipped today, will be delay by a week. AND there are no guarantees that they won’t delay it again. I WANT MY SLATE!!!!!! FAST!!!!
I’m gonna buy an ExoPC from Microsoft to keep me going until the slate finally gets delivered.
