For the past few weeks we have been hearing that Apple may release iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 on October 15. Whether or not that’s true, but lately specs of iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 have been leaked.
According to the leakage, iPad 5 will run on iOS 7. The tablet will sport 9.7-inch thinner side bezels, measuring 240mm/169.48mm (height/width) and 7.5mm thickness. However, the tablet will come with Touch ID fingerprint sensors, a 64-bit A7 processor with M7 coprocessor, IGZO (Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide) made Gorilla Glass 3 display and 2GB of RAM installed. The tablet may also come with a smart cover which may provide extra battery power. iPad 5 will be available in Apple’s new range of colors: space grey, silver, and gold.
On the other side, according to Chinese tech news site DoNews, iPad Mini 2 will also come with TouchID sensor home button. It may have back casing only, in the new ‘space grey’ color finish. Famous iDevice leaker Sonny Dickson has mentioned that the iPad Mini 2 will include the A7 64-bit chip and M7 motion coprocessor backed by 1GB of RAM. The eye-catching cases of the iPad Mini 2 will be covered in metallic flavors of gold, silver and gray and possibly classic black and white shades will be added to the device too.
Apple has mentioned nothing yet about it. It’s a matter of time that the company may speak up anytime. So stay with us to know the latest update about it.
