Apple’s unconfirmed iPad Mini tablet that everyone has raved about over these past few weeks should be announced on October 23rd if all goes dandy. Although Apple hasn’t even acknowledged producing a miniaturized tablet, it sure has received extensive media attention. Just a week in advance of the purported announcement, an inventory system of a European store indicates the iPad Mini may sport a $840 price tag for all the bells and whistles.
An inventory screenshot obtained by MobileGeeks reveals that the iPad Mini may be released in 16 separate memory and wireless configurations. The screenshot was leaked from Europe’s largest electronic retailer, Media Market.
Pricing of the iPad Mini will begin at 249 euros ($322) for the Wi-Fi only 8GB model. A few other memory configurations — include 16GB, 32GB, and 64 GB in both Wi-Fi only and cellular versions. The utmost expensive 64 GB iPad Mini with 4G LTE capabilities will cost consumers 649 euros, or $840 US dollars. These models presumably hold Europe’s 19 percent tax already.
Apple has reportedly already tipped suppliers to produce 10 million iPad Mini units for an estimated November 2nd release point. We’ll find the full truth behind pricing and models available on the market come the purported October 23rd announcement. Stay tuned for additional information.
