Lenovo has introduced a new ThinkPad tablet running on Windows 8 OS at Computex. Though previously we have been seen Windows 7 tablets by Lenovo such as ThinkPad X220, the company has showcased a Windows 8 tablet for the first time. However, it is just not another upgrade from one OS to another. Lenovo has entered a new category through the new machine. If you are a fan of ThinkPad or Windows or both, you will feel better when you will see the design and basic specifications.
Lenovo did not reveal the full specification of the tablet. The tablet has Intel Clover Trail processor, a 10.1-inch display, a pair of 2-megapixel and 8-megapixel cameras, a micro-HDMI port and a docking connector. The tablet supports 1366 x 768 resolution, standard for a Windows 8 tablet of this size. Its battery is also able to support 10-plus hours on a charge. Lenovo did not confirm the weight but it is 9.7mm thick.
