Yesterday on October 22, Apple unveiled a new model of its regular-sized iPad called ‘iPad Air.’ US cellular carrier Sprint has announced that it’ll start offering the Apple iPad Air with Wi-Fi and cellular from Friday, November 1.
The 9.7-inch Retina display equipped iPad Air tablet weighs only 1.0 lb and comes with significantly improved looks and packs an ultra-slim body and a faster chip. Although the earlier model (4th-gen iPad) was 9.4mm thick, iPad Air is 7.5mm thick, meaning Apple has slashed down the waist of the tablet by 25%. The device is powered by 64-bit A7 processor.
The Cellular variant of the Apple iPad Air will start at $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB, $829 for 64GB and the 128GB option is priced at $929. Besides Sprint will also sell the Retina display equipped iPad mini Cellular model starting at $529 for 16GB, $629 for 32GB, $729 for 64GB and $829 for 128GB.
