A new softwere update coming to UK Dell Streak and that is Dell Streak is getting upgrade with Android 2.2 Froyo on UK……

Dell will allow users to download and install the update manually. As a matter of fact, the company actually launched a Dell Streak Update page last night. Unfortunately, the page has been pulled for the time being. The update will apparently wipe the device clean, which means that individuals must back up their entire data before upgrading to Android 2.2 [Froyo].

Android 2.2 [Froyo] will bring the following features to the Dell Streak:

• Improved performance & memory management
• Enhanced Microsoft Exchange support
• Ability to create a mobile WiFi hotspot
• Adobe Flash 10.1
• Dell Mobile Sync powered by Nero to manage and sync your media & Outlook contacts with a PC. Download from support.dell.com/Streak.
