Recently, Urban Green Energy (UGE) has announced to launch its versatile technology ‘Fusion.’ Fusion is new renewable wind and solar solution system that reduces operating costs for off-grid telecom towers and minimizes environmental footprint. In plain word, it will decrease the operating costs at off-grid telecom sites with upgraded technology. No doubt, this will reduce the dependency rate of telecom tower on diesel generators.
UGE’s specialized division UGE Telecoms is going to launch Fusion. Fusion is designed to integrate seamlessly into existing off-grid telecom stations. Now it runs primarily on diesel generators. But, the complete Fusion system will be a combination of UGE’s advanced wind turbines, an array of solar panels with an advanced control system. Therefore, the complete Fusion turns into a dependable, low-maintenance system which supplies free energy 24/7. Check out its working process below.
Fusion’s focus is on reducing the cost comparing to current cost on diesel generators. Solution Manager for Fusion David Droz said, “By offsetting up to 90% of diesel usage per site, Fusion will allow our customers to significantly lower their operating costs and recoup their investment in as little as two years, while using a more robust and dependable system.”
Out of 7, Fusion is currently being implemented in 3 continents. They are Asia, Europe and The Americas. Now it is in trial period to provide power for communication towers remotely for a national defense agency. We will see the complete ultimate solution at Urban Green Energy’s booth in The Green Technology Pavilion at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later this month. To know more, click here.

Thank you for this story! However, the wind turbine image included in this post, is not one of UGE’s turbines. We do vertical axis; the one pictured is horizontal axis. You can write to us at info@urbangreenenergy.com to get a correct image of our turbines or download one from here http://www.prweb.com/releases/2012/2/prweb9209222.htm. Thanks!
Thanks a lot Amarga…..
We updated the pic with your given link….. please inform us if any issue is there….
