In a world that is fast becoming digital, it is becoming increasingly hard to keep your personal details and information secure from intruders. This is even more difficult for celebrities who are followed by millions of fans. Now, a fan of the popular rapper Jay-Z has claimed that he has been able to keep track of Jay-Z’s movements simply by reading ReadNotify receipts.

This rather obsessive fan has been able to keep track of Jay-Z’s movements quite accurately. His claims were affirmed when it was revealed that the details provided on the receipts indeed match Jay-Z’s touring schedule. These details are generated automatically as soon as a user loads an invisible tracking image from ReadNotify.

Naturally, this is a cause of great concern for a lot of users. The ReadNotify receipts are usually used for marketing purposes. But a stalker can equally use them to stalk you, keep track of your movements and know where to find you. Such information definitely should not be public and least of all, should not be accessible on the web. It raises concerns regarding the privacy and security of a user.

The fan in question did not only read up these receipts to track Jay-Z’s movements, he was also able to get Jay-Z’s personal address. Apparently, that was also possible through his digital exploits.
