Gmail Gets Improved Search With Autocomplete Suggestions

Google has been working really hard on its email service, Gmail. The search engine giant has been introducing a number of new features to Gmail and has been quite successful in making Gmail one of the most used email services online. Now, Google has introduced yet another tweak to the search feature in Gmail, making Gmail search more convenient and effective.

Recently, Google added new features to Gmail, making it more easy to discover contacts and their details and then connect with them. Moreover, it also introduced the ability to search straight from Google Plus circles.

Now, Gmail has been tweaked further by Google so that when searching within Gmail, users will be able to see smart results being generated. According to Google, “Now when you type something into the Gmail search box, the autocomplete predictions will be tailored to the content in your email, so you can save time and get the information you want faster than ever before. For example, you might now get lax reservation or lax united as predictions after typing “lax” if you have received an email with a flight confirmation for your trip to Los Angeles in your inbox recently.”

Initially, the Gmail autocomplete feature will be introduced only in English but eventually, Google has plans of offering it in a number of other languages. Also, initially Google Apps users will also not be able to make use of this new feature.
