Mozilla Releases “Thimble” To Help In Learning CSS And HTML

CSS as well as HTML are two of the most important components of the web today. If you wish to become a web developer or go into coding that has something to do with the web, you must know about these two in detail. And now, Mozilla is here to help you understand about them. The Mozilla team has released Thimble, which is basically a tool which will help you learn about HTML and CSS.

Thimble will enable the users to start writing their own HTML and CSS code. It is not simply a stand-alone project from Mozilla. Mozilla has been working on similar other projects under the umbrella of Mozilla’s Webmaker Project. This project is actually aimed to encourage people, as well as help them, to create their own content on the web.

Thimble comes with a number of unique and interesting options. You can immediately get a preview of whatever you have created so far. This means that after writing just a few lines of code, you can watch a preview and see if things are going the way you want them to. Moreover, if you wish to put your project on the web, Webmaker domain is here to your aid – you can have your project hosted on it within a few second.

The split-screen of the tool is very helpful in that you can view the code you are writing on the left-hand side, whereas the preview can be seen on the right hand side, thus allowing you to edit and correct your code side by side.
