I always have a lot of tabs open and now probably most of people always have a lot tabs open. For me its like I always have over 30+ tabs opened each time in each one of 3 running browser. Here’s Google’s breakdown of how much you have to browse to donate to the various charities:

100 tabs = 1 square foot of shelter built
200 tabs = 1 person’s clean water for a year
The initiative will run for five days from December 15 to the 19. Google says they’ll donate up to a million dollars on behalf of the extension’s users.
What you have to do?
- Get the Chrome for a Cause extension
- Browse the web with Chrome between December 15 – 19
- At the end of each day, you’ll be prompted to click on the extension to submit your tabs
- Choose which charity you’d like to support with that day’s tabs — you can always support the same charity, or pick a different one each day
