Facebook Lets You Share What You’re Doing To Status Updates

Facebook will launch Facebook Home on April 12. It seems some more features are also rolling out around same time. Facebook has brought a new feature that lets you add what you are doing through status updates on the social network. Starting this week, users can add what they’re watching, reading, listening to, eating, drinking or how they’re feeling in status updates.

This feature looks pretty good; you may try this when it is available to you. For example, if you are watching “The Avengers” and want to update your status, then just type “Watching The Avengers”; the movie’s icon and page link will come up automatically in the post. “The Avengers” (in this case) will also be added to your timeline’s Movie section.

Facebook said, it will continue rolling out the feature to people in the U.S. in the coming weeks.
