Although Google+ is still a budding social network, it has some features which have been touted as the best in the industry. One such feature is the ‘Hangouts’, which allows video chat among a group. The good news is that this feature has now come to Gmail.
The integration of Hangouts with Gmail can be very useful. It will allow you to video chat with your friends or family all in the same chat room. You can group chat with up to 9 people, share your screens, and collaborate on Google Docs. You can also use this feature from your Android or iOS device, along with your desktop browser.

Google announced the addition of the new feature into Gmail 16 hours ago, in the Official Gmail Blog. The roll out of the feature would start today, and will gradually reach out to all Gmail users.
