LinkedIn Shuts Down ‘Bang With Professionals’ Hook-Up App

After the wildly successful launch of Bang With Friends, a new sex app named Bang With Professionals has been debuted online. The app’s purpose is to help hook up users with co-workers over LinkedIn. But interestingly, LinkedIn has shut down the app.

Bang With Professionals

Bang With Professionals (website: bangwithprofessionals.com) is completely secure, anonymous and provides the easiest way to find co-workers in your LinkedIn connections who would secretly want to get more intimate… for some‚Ķbanging. Bang With Professionals tells visitors to “request an invite” by entering their email address. Users are led to a page that encourage them to tell co-workers by sharing a link. Your co-workers will only know you’re interested for more if they are interested too.

But, LinkedIn has pulled the plug on Bang With Professionals. The makers of the app were hoping to use the social network’s API to virtually and easily hook up co-workers. LinkedIn blames the app’s promotion of “adult activities” for the shutdown as it goes against the network’s developer terms of use agreement. LinkedIn said, “We believe this developer and application are in violation of our LinkedIn Developer TOS as they are using our APIs in a manner that are inconsistent with the goals of our Developer Program.”

On the other side, the developers of Bang With Professionals believed that Linkedin had the potential to offer an intimate network of co-workers and interesting professionals to possibly kindle with. However, now Bang With Professionals has a notice on its home page, headlined: “We all had a good laugh.” The notice continued: “We all knew it was only a matter of time before our API key was revoked. Well, it just was! Don’t worry, your data (around 6,000 subscribers) was safe all along. We just deleted all of the user ids and the only thing that will be left is this landing page.”

Currently, the Bang With Professionals developers are working on something else.
