Yahoo Enters Web Browser Business With Axis

On May 23, Wednesday evening, Yahoo announced that it’s going to step into the browser business with its new web browser – Axis. The new software, dubbed Yahoo Axis, is being called a “search browser.” With the release of Axis, a new search app and add-on for both iOS and desktop browsers, Yahoo aims to make browsing the Web a more visual and convenient experience. The idea here is that users can search the web using their iPad, iPhone or computer and then pick up that search when they move from one device to the next.

Asus And MSI Announces First Thunderbolt Certified Motherboards

Asus and MSI have introduced two Thunderbolt motherboards, sharing the position of the first Thunderbolt certified motherboard maker. Both Asus P8Z77-V and MSI’s Z77A-GD80 motherboards are based on Intel’s Z77 Express chipset. Both the motherboards support Ivy Bridge platform and uses Apple’s Mini Display Port implementation of Thunderbolt. Both the motherboards are expected to make their debuts at the Taipei Computex show in two weeks.
