Nokia N9 MeeGo Phone Announced

Nokia unveiled its new N9 smartphone that runs the MeeGo operating system and is being marketed as a pure touch screen device without buttons. Nokia N9 comes with the usual options including HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and A-GPS for navigation and the front face of the handset is almost completely made up of the screen, which is a 3.9-inch WVGA AMOLED display protected by a curved Corning Gorilla Glass surface. The chassis of the N9 is made of a polycarbonate material that is colored throughout, not just on the surface and the MeeGo OS will be its strategy for the next billion phones, primarily meant for the emerging markets.
