NVIDIA has launched its second generation of stereo 3D technology which improves many aspects of using stereo 3D on computers and 3D Vision 2 is designed to make the experience more immersive. NVIDIA has designed the active shutter glasses with a 20% larger lens so that players don’t see the frames and the monitors are also brighter to compensate for the loss of brightness that is inherent to active-shutter glasses. The company also assures us that these glasses will be backward compatible with older 3D Vision panels and look for them this month in the form of either standalone frames ($99) or as part of a $149 kit…………….

Duke Nukem 3D, the shoot ‘em up game described as morally questionable by reviewers upon its original release in 1996, is expected to arrive very soon on the Android Market and the app, which pitches Duke against a hoard of aliens and mutated humans attempting to take over the world, is being brought to Android through a partnership between mobile applications network Tapjoy, Inc. and MachineWorks NorthWest. The Android version of Duke Nukem 3d will be a port of the iOS version of the game and compatible with devices using Android version 2.1 and higher……………..
