Jailbreaker George Hotz, better known as Geohot has started working at Facebook and Joshua Hill (P0sixninja) recently mentioned in an interview that Geohot is trying to avoid the limelight after his legal battle with Sony and is concentrating on his day job at Facebook. It is unclear what his role is at Facebook and he must working on something related to Facebookâs apps for iPhone. Hotz was sued by Sony after the jailbreaker created a custom firmware for the PS3 using a root key, but now Hotz is no longer able to have a PSN account or ever modify any Sony devices……….

Apple just dropped iOS 5 Beta 2 and Dev Team frontman MuscleNerd confirmed that it is still possible to jailbreak iOS 5 Beta 2 using the latest version of RedSn0w, the same that was released a couple weeks ago to jailbreak iOS 5 Beta 1. For jailbreak iOS 5 Beta 2 you will have to use RedSn0w and point it to iOS 5 Beta 1 and this is still a tethered jailbreak, which means you will have to plug your iPhone in every time you reboot. This jailbreak work for iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4G, iPad 1, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 GSM, iPhone 4 CDMA and iPhone users who are not developers should stay away from iOS 5 until its official release………..

Apple has also pushed out new iTunes 10.5 Beta 2 for developers and iOS 5 beta 2 requires iTunes 10.5 beta 2 and OS X 10.6.8 or Lion. Apple has enabled wireless syncing in iOS 5 beta 2 and wireless syncing is triggered automatically when the device is connected to power and on the same network as the paired computer…………
Viacom sues Cablevision over its TV-streaming optimum for iPad app and wants a revised agreement before it sees its content appear on new screens, but Cablevision claims that cable service on the iPad is the same as on any TV.
