A new version of the 64-bit codec pack has been released. This is a bundle of 64-bit DirectShow filters that can be used together with 64-bit players, such as Windows Media Center. This pack can co-exist without problems with the regular (32-bit) K-Lite Codec Pack. The 64-bit versions of Windows can run 32-bit software perfectly fine. So it is recommended to use the regular K-Lite Codec Pack when possible. That one contains more, better and faster decoders. You only need 64-bit filters for use with 64-bit applications.

Toshiba has adopted a technology that has a color-changing shell into its notebook, the Toshiba Qosmio T750. Toshiba Qosmio T750 laptop is updated with color-changing shell technology. This technique is actually called the Picasus and it’s developed by Touré Meihan. Most interestingly, the chameleonic lid color is change the color from Blue to Purple depending on the viewer’s viewing angle. This new color-changing notebook is remind to the effect of chameleon paint on TVR cars.

A new edition of the blockbuster smartphone and console game is coming in March, and it’ll be called Angry Birds Rio. Interspersed with characters from Rio, the upcoming animated feature from 20th Century Fox, Angry Birds Rio will revolve around the kidnapping of those annoyed avians.
Disney has launched its new Android smartphone that provides 3D capability,naming as Disney Mobile DM009SH 3D phone. Based on the Sharp Galapagos 003SH, the new handset will get the same hardware as the original 3D Android smartphone. If you’re not familiar with that device, it sports a 3.8-inch stereoscopic touchscreen, which can display 3D images without requiring any special glasses. The Disney glass-free 3D smartphone will be available in Japan but no word on pricing yet.
