The Romanian company is much famous for the Neura, a device deemed the “most powerful Android tablet” and now they comes with another bold claim, touting, the lightest notebook in the world. The 11.6-inch U9 features a 1.6GHz Cedarview processor, 2GB of RAM and an SSD with either 64 or 128GB of storage.

Microsoft Adds Acer And ViewSonic For Patent License Agreement

Acer and ViewSonic are the latest companies to execute patent licensing agreements with Microsoft to protect their Android smartphones and tablet devices from litigation in the event Microsoft ever decides to take Google to court for patent infringement and ViewSonic will explicitly be paying royalties to Microsoft to cover Android tablets and mobile phones. The announcement of a license agreement with Acer contains no language about royalties, potentially indicating Acer may have executed a patent swap with Microsoft that doesn’t involve cash. Both outfits have signed a patent agreement that provides broad coverage under Microsoft’s patent portfolio for their tablets and mobile phones running the Android or Chrome Platform………………
