ASUS has finally pulled down the curtains and showed off to the world what they were talking about. The Padfone is basically a combination of two devices – a phone and a tablet. Imagine the Motorola Atrix – but instead of having a laptop dock to plug your phone in, make it a tablet dock instead and you get the Padfone.
ASUS announced the Padfone, which is consists of an Eee Pad Transformer style slate with a section at the back that opens up to accept a smartphone and the PadFone comes fully equipped with a secret compartment for the docking of your ASUS-branded Android phone. ASUS has given it stereo speakers and a front-facing webcam, also OS is uncertain, though the likely possibility is Ice Cream Sandwich since that will be the flavor of Android which brings together the tablet and phone strands…………
