HP’s webOS-running TouchPad tablet, the 32GB, WiFi-only model to be exact has been found listed in Walmart’s inventory and no solid release date is given but the leaked page does give out a price tag $599, the same as the 32GB WiFi-only iPad. HP Touchpad uses the WebOS operating system, a fifth OS in a market currently dominated by Apple and Google that also features BlackBerry and tablets that run Windows 7………
Nvidia co-founder and CEO Jen-Hsun Huang has declared that Android tablets will overtake Apple’s iPad in 30 months. Speaking at the Reuters Technology Summit in New York on Monday, the outspoken CEO noted that it took Android smartphones less than three years to outpace the iPhone.
The attacks on Sony do not seem to come to an end. The series of attacks span back to the several day outage of the Sony PlayStation network. After repeat attacks to its PlayStation Network over the past month, researchers from cyber security firm F-Secure have discovered a phishing attack site hosted on a Sony server. So yes, Sony has been hacked again. This time, however, the PSN is safe. But the previous hacks to it system appear to have left Sony’s entire online infrastructure vulnerable to attacks like this one.

According to Gartner, Out of 3.6 million Windows-based phones sold in Q1 of 2011, only 1.6 million were Windows Phone 7 models. The figure is based on device sales into consumers pockets rather than device shipments to operators.
Dell’s upcoming 10-inch tablet is taking a more defined shape ahead of its expected June release and will run Android 3.0 Honeycomb and will not get stuck with Android 2.2 Froyo as previously speculated, but the mooted Dell Streak Pro is said to be running Honeycomb – although whether that will be Android 3.0 or 3.1 is unclear on a 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 T20 processor from Nvidia…………
Apple has indicated it could offer the service free of charge initially but that company will eventually require a fee and has reportedly reached agreements with three out of the four major music labels for its upcoming cloud music service. The third label to sign is said to be Sony. EMI and Warner are already on board and Sony lists Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, and Foo Fighters among its featured recording artists, would leave only Universal Music Group as the lone holdout………
