ComScore calls Android top dog, Apple pulls further ahead of RIM and one in four phones in the United States is a Samsung device, with Android gaining ground, as BlackBerrys lose out to cheaper handsets. Google at an impressive 15% increase to top the chart at 41.8% market share followed by the usual suspects, RIM in third at 21.7% (down 5%), and Microsoft at 5.7% (down 1%) and Apple’s market share among mobile OEMs is also on the increase, growing 1.2% to capture 9.5% of the market…………….

Samsung announced a new laptop line, adding the Series 7 to the existing Series 3 and Series 9 lines and also the new Series 7 has a super-thin metallic chassis, incredibly bright display and a hybrid storage system designed to make a regular hard disk act like an SSD. On the inside, users can get up to a Core i7 2675QM CPU clocked at 2.20GHz, up to 8GB of RAM, Radeon HD 6750M graphics, and a 750GB HDD spinning at 7200RPM and there’s an additional 8GB of flash memory mounted on the motherboard that helps shave boot times down to mere seconds using Sammy’s FastStart technology.
