It seems that different android and windows tablets are dominating at ces 2011.An unknown company from India called Notion Ink introduced the first Android tablet to feature a Pixel Qi display and NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.After hard working at last the Adam tablet is finally ready to ship, with the company saying that the first units should go out to customers the week of January 11th.

Samsung Debuts Its First Sliding Tablet PC 7 Series at CES 2011

At CES 2011 in Las Vegas Samsung announced a new tablet device.The Microsoft Windows 7 PC 7 Series tablet is powered by Intel’s Atom processor designed for small mobile devices, which is codenamed “Oak Trail”. Rather than having just a touchscreen the machine has a sliding keyboard.Basically, the PC 7 Series has a sliding keyboard that can come out and sit at the foot of the display itself.The Samsung 7 Series Sliding PC will be available in March 2011 with a base price of $699.

ViewSonic Will Show Off More Tablet at CES 2011

According to the WSJ ViewSonic will have three new tablets to show off at CES 2011.The device, which hasn’t been named yet, is supposed to be a 4-inch touchscreen display and it will run Android.The hybrid machine will also connect to next-generation telecommunications networks, known as 4G, one of the people said. Sprint Nextel Corp. (S) and Verizon Wireless currently operate 4G networks in the U.S. Verizon Wireless is a unit of Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) and Vodafone Group PLC (VOD, VOD.LN).

Looking forward of CES 2011, Asus has started to tease its new Eee Pad Tablets.The company have pushed out three new Eee Pads,each with a 10-inch touchscreen display right in time for the electronics show.At least one model will be powered by Android due to the presence of touch sensitive Android-style menu buttons.This model also appears to have a convertible QWERTY keypad. Another Eee Pad model appears to feature a physical keypad as well.
