We reported that search giant Google may unveil Android KitKat and lang awaited Nexus 5 in October through an event, but we were not sure about the event. But now we are sure as Google is sending out invitation to press for October 24 event.
Google will hold the event in New York City. Many people have been waiting for Nexus 5 and they are expecting that Google will unveil the specifications of that device in that event. But Geek.com has reported that the October 24 event will not feature any new hardware, indicating it’s not the Nexus 5 event. So what’s the plan of Google for this event?
Well, it seems like Google will focus on Google Play at this event as the text on the invitation reads “Join us for a night out with Google Play. Music, movies, games, and a special performance by Capital Cities” and nothing else. Undoubtedly, the invitation is vague and it doesn’t offer any hint about what to expect. This means, we’ll have to wait until October 24 to see what Google has planned. Stay tuned. We’ll bring the update as soon as possible.
