Planar has announced a 23-inch 3D Vision Ready monitor for mass consumption, the SA2311W.This monitor is provide blazing fast 120Hz frame rate which allows clear images and blur—free video and sport 23 inch at 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The Planar SA2311W is a sleek, attractive desktop LCD monitor designed for 3D viewing, but this affordable widescreen display is ideal for 2D use as well. Whether you’re playing the latest 3D game or modeling complex biomolecules, the blazing fast 120Hz frame rate and 2 ms response time deliver crisp, clear images and blur—free video. The 3D Vision certified SA2311W is 3D Vision ready, simply use the 3D Vision Kit (not included) and an appropriate graphics card from NVIDIA (not included) to produce impressive stereoscopic imaging.
To take advantage of the 3D visuals, you’ll need to bring your own 3D Vision Kit from Nvidia (not included) and a compatible graphics card. Once you’re all set with the prerequisites, the SA2311W will offer up Full HD stereo with a 1920×1080 resolution, a 120Hz frame rate, height adjustable stand, and a 2ms response time.
Planar has announced December as a release date for their SA2311W 3D monitor with a price of $449 USD.
