18-Year-Old College Dropout Sujay Tyle Receives $100,000 From Thiel Fellowship

The list of college-dropout tech entrepreneurs who are making big in the world out there, is increasing by every day. From Bill Gates to  Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg, the list already features some of the eminent figures of the tech industry. Sujay Tyle, who is a college dropout likewise, is now all set to be a part of this list.


Sujay Tyle probably was meant for the $100,000 Thiel Fellowship which is awarded to 20 extra-ordinary people under 20. Tyle has been given awarded the fellowship for leaving Harvard during his Junior Year.

Needless to say, Tyle now hopes to accomplish some big things with this opportunity. His LinkedIn profile reads, “I am currently leading Business Development at LA-based start-up Scopely, having left Harvard with Peter Thiel’s 20 under 20 fellowship during my Junior Year. We are building an unbelievable team here and tackling some consumer-facing problems by putting together neat products that are releasing soon.”

The Thiel fellowship in itself is a huge opportunity for Tyle to take his success t o an all new level. The description of the fellowship from its official site reads:

“During the two-year program, each fellow will receive $100,000 from the Thiel Foundation as well as mentorship from the Foundation’s network of tech entrepreneurs, investors, scientists, thought leaders, and innovators. Projects pursued by this class of fellows span numerous areas of cutting edge technology, including energy, robotics, 3D printing, biotechnology and medical breakthroughs, software and digital communication, education, public health, artificial intelligence, and open source ecology.”
